Fireworks Safety
Though fireworks can be exciting, festive, and fun, HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital wants to remind you that fireworks can also be very dangerous.

For more than 28 years, Marilyn Sears has been part of the administration at HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital. She began as chief financial officer, a job that she loved and served at from August 30, 1989 until April 1, 2010 when she became the chief executive officer and president of the hospital. 

From July 31 through August 3, the HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital will host a Vacation Body School for children in grades 4th, 5th or 6th.

Each year, lake tourism ramps up with Memorial Day Weekend. Annually, Lake Shelbyville sees about 200,000 visitors including campers, boaters, hikers, and swimmers.
