HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital to Hold First Mass Celebration

On Wednesday, September 6, HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital will hold its first Mass in the new chapel. Father Nick Husain, priest-chaplain at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Decatur—another HSHS affiliate hospital—will be the presider. Everyone is welcome to attend.
“With the blessing of our Lord, we will seek His guidance, receive His insight and wisdom while we are in this sacred space,” said Father Nick.
The chapel is located just inside the east door of the hospital on 200 South Cedar St. in Shelbyville. A blessing ceremony and dedication for the chapel was held on Sunday, July 30, 2017.
Father Nick added, “We want to invite everyone to attend who wishes to worship. You do not have to be Catholic to participate in our Mass celebration. We wish to include all walks of faith.”
The next mass held at the HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital Chapel will be on September 20 at 11:30 a.m.
